Henry and Eddie.
With guns in hand they strutted forth
great expectations had they both
Their aim was keen, their bags were empty
Not another miss - of them were plenty
A little rest to grab a bite,
a good old yarn of shooting at night
dogs well fed now here we go
where are the birds - we think we know
I’ll take one side - you take the ditch
then all goes well without a hitch
the birds fly high with desperate squawks
the dynamic duo with eyes like hawks
their bags now full with plenty game
this should make the hall of fame
the best of days they ever had
neither gents were ever sad.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
